Something quite interesting came across my web-browser
just yesterday. In my search to see how others advocate for
their cause, I noticed something so wonderful.

In 2011 when I infused this concept within my advocacy, I
did not realize how many “The Faces of…” existed. I never
gave it any thought, nor did I truly comprehend that I was not
alone in using its powerful meaning.

Many individuals within our Huntington's and Juvenile
Huntington's disease community are in need of assistance.
It is important to readdress the Compassionate Allowances
(CAL) for our community.  There are too many individuals
who are without these necessary benefits, however there is
hope!

We all have our special memories that a sight,
sound, or smell can take us back to and one of my
favorite memories is my apple tree. I loved that tree. It
was so big that all five of us kids could climb up and
sit on the branches eating all the sour green apples
we wanted. Of course, bellyaches were usually our
reward but we did not care much about that!
